The Small Boat Shop carries an extensive line of accessories to make your boating experience fun, safe, and comfortable. Having the right accessories can make the difference between an exhilarating, so-so, or poor boating excursion.
Paddles & Oars - Our selection of kayak paddles includes Aqua-bound, Current Designs, Betsy Bay, Bending Branches, Carlisle and Werner. Canoe paddles come from Wenonah, Bending Branches and Old Town. We have oars from MDI in Canada and Shaw & Tenney of Maine. Paddles and oars range from economical and functional to state of the art, to work of art.
PFDs - A necessity for any water sport. We carry Coast Guard approved person flotation devices (PFDs, life vests) for men, women, and children. Manufactured by Extra Sport, Kokatat, Palm and MTI, one is certain to fit your body and your sporting activities. New, Coast Guard approved, inflatable PFDs are ideal for hot weather and anyone who hates to wear a bulky life vest.
Cold Water Clothing - Cold Water Kills - A large assortment of wet suits and dry suits are available in multiple cuts and configurations. We also have the gloves, hoods, and footwear needed to cover your hands, head and feet. Combining your wetsuit or dry suit with the proper accessories and layers allows you to create a custom outfit that is both safe and comfortable.
Car Topping - Need a roof rack? We have a Thule or Yakima rack to fit your car. These multi-sport racks have attachments for kayaks, canoes, bikes, skis, and roof boxes. We also carry a variety of load lifters and assisters and we'll install your rack for you. For those on a budget, foam block systems can put a boat on your car for under $70.

Nautical Charts - Waterproof charts of local and distant waters from Waterproof Charts and Maptech.
Canoe Accessories - In addition to paddles we have seats, carts, motor mounts, salt water motors, roof racks and a host of other useful items.
